Villaggio Elea
It takes intelligence and heart to genuinely make people feel good. This is the secret of the Carfora family, who have founded and run the holiday village for the past 50 years, with a touch of French charm and a handful of Campanian warmth. The rest is professionalism, experience, compassion and a lot of creativity: an essential ingredient to make those who return every year happy and look forward to finding everything the same... yet different 😉
The holiday village Elea is unique because its history is unique: Pio Carfora, a mathematics professor from Naples and his wife Madeleine from Paris, created it from nothing. A couple who fell in love with a place of infinite charm and potential - nature, culture, landscape, genuine products - and who realised a concrete dream, which soon became a choral creation, because it was shared over the years with so many people, many of them local.
Our Philosophy
At the beginning of the project, there was an innovative model from the 1970s, when French holiday villages inspired Pio and Madeleine. Elea was one of the first in Italy, offering a completely new concept centred on animation, the personal involvement of guests and above all a great vital energy capable of engaging everyone. The whole experience is soft and Mediterranean in style, thanks to the warm and gentle nature of those who live in the South. Having a model to aspire to also means assuming a standard of quality and professionalism, to which the attention, care and kindness of a tight-knit, passionate family has been added. Thanks to these solid foundations and marvellous roots, Villaggio Elea has evolved to the present day, with Madeleine and her children Fabrizio and Vanessa and many other faces, names, hearts and minds that are part of a larger family, that of the Village... because the truth is that at the Villaggio Elea you become friends!
