Ruins of Velia
The city of Velia, once known as Elea, from which our holiday village takes its name, dates back to 540 B.C. and is home to a very famous archaeological area that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
In addition to its great historical value, Velia offers enchanting panoramic views of the area.

Paestum
Paestum is major archaeological area, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Previously known as Poseidonia, the site dates back to the 7th century B.C. and is home to three magnificent Doric temples that are still almost entirely intact: the Temple of Neptune, the Temple of Hera and the Temple of Ceres.
A visit to this place, which is only 45 km from our resort, is a real must for any self-respecting Cilento vacation.

Cilento National Park
The Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park covers 180,000 hectares of land, of which 80 Municipalities and 8 Mountain Communities are part. The Park also enjoys World Heritage status thanks to the very rare human-nature harmony that can be noted within its boundaries. The Park offers all kinds of scenery: coastal areas, mountain areas, rivers, streams, forests and much more. More than 1,800 species of wild plants grow there, including the highly sought-after Palinuro Primula.

Carthusian Monastery of San Lorenzo
The Carthusian Monastery of San Lorenzo, also known as the Carthusian Monastery of Padula, is an enchanting medieval monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest in Italy and among the largest ones in Europe, featuring 320 rooms, 500 doors, 550 windows, 13 courtyards, 100 fireplaces and an impressive 41 fountains. A one-of-a-kind architectural marvel: don't miss it!
